I look to the ambiguous relationship and dialogue between opposing points of view ... I consider utopia to reside in the moment between: the moment between intent and action, the moment between reaching and touching, the moment between love and hate. The moment between a bullet hitting or missing target. The moment between inhale and exhale. In this moment before cause has taken absolute effect, before action has chosen its definitive reaction, reside all possibilities.

The video consists of a slowed down (frame by frame) shot of a pair of legs in suspension; midair, possibly caught in the action of jumping before return to earth, or possibly in a more permanent state of suspension? - This video-work essentially intends to provide a moment of stillness within the cacophony of the advertised image. It will provide a moment of private retreat and contemplation.
